Sometimes it feels like nothing is happening, but over time, we realize that those phases of silence and isolation were never a pause or a state of being stuck—they were a constant process of growth.
With this painting, I attempted to depict the soil as the sacred space where growth truly occurs. It is dark, quiet, hidden, and unfolds beyond what the eye can see. While painting the soil, I came to realize that there is no real divide between the human body and nature itself. Women, in particular, hold the capacity to carry and create life within themselves, much like the earth.
To bridge the connection between the womb and the soil, I painted both within a single frame. Both embody the delicate harmony of dark and light. In nature, even when things appear chaotic or uneven, they are never truly out of balance.
